  1. Teens and Young Adults Counseling • Talk to a life coach about • Bullying or being picked on constantly can be disturbing • Body image can affect our confidence • It may not always be easy to communicate with opposite sex • Losing yourself while trying to fit in?

  2. Bullying Aggressive behavior may be bullying depending on what happened, how often it happens and who it happens to. Bullying is the use of force, threat, or coercion to abuse, intimidate or aggressively dominate others. It involves a real or perceived power imbalance between two or more people. The bully use their power-such as physical strength, access to embarrassing information, or popularity-to control or harm the victim.

  3. Sibling Rivalry The most common byproduct of having a sibling (especially a biological one), is the 'conflict' aspect of it. Sibling rivalry is the jealousy, competition and fighting between brothers and sisters Sibling rivalry begins after the birth of the second child. It is manifested as jealousy, competition in academics, sports, extra- curriculars and frequent arguments and fights.

  4. Interaction with Opposite Sex Most of us have had jitters making that first conversation with someone from opposite gender which is quite common and natural to experience. It's not easy approaching a person of the opposite sex as there is: Pressure of making a good first impression- We think that if we do not make a good first impression then we wouldn't be able to face the person again or get another chance to interact with them as they might have already formed an image about us.

  5. Body Image Body image is the perception that a person has of their physical self and the thoughts and feelings that result from that perception. These feelings can be positive, negative or both and are influenced by individual and environmental factors. In a world where appearances are taken as a vital parameter of judgment & evaluation, consciousness and stress pertaining to body image is inevitable leading to an exponential rise in social comparisons and low self image and confidence issues in youngsters.

Social Media Impact At present, social media has, in one way or another reached over 2 billion people worldwide, which means that a large chunk of individuals around the globe are prone to getting impacted by it one way or another. While on one hand, social media has managed to be evolutionary in terms of its positive effects, on the other hand, it also has certain negative impacts due to which the relationships that we share with those around us tend to get affected.   7. Generation Gap Generation gap is a commonly known phenomenon where youngsters feel misunderstood by their parents & elders because of the difference in age group. Researcher Levenson observed how millennials are different from their predecessors in not only their stages of development and types of relationships but also there is a large difference in economic opportunities, global competition and education. As they explore the future they strive to cope with this generation gap.
