  1. Presentation on NANO SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY

  2. Nano Nano means the things which are in extremely small measure. The size of the particles which are lesser than 100nanometers are rightly called as Nanoparticles. Origin ofthe word nano It origins is from the Greek word nanos means dwarf

  3. Nano science Formulated and systematic knowledge of nano is known as nano science

  4. Nanotechnology • It is the study and designing of machines on the molecular and atomic level. • The mathematical measure of nanometer is 10-9 m. • Symbol of nano is ”n”. (1n=1billonth of 1m)

  5. Relating Nanoscience, Nanoengineering and Nanotechnology NANOTECHNOLOGY Provides the objectives to Nanoengineering by Nanoscience NANOENGINEERING Produces the fabrication method from Nanoscience by using Nanotechnology NANOSCIENCE Provides the Basic Knowledge for both Nanotechnology and Engineering

  6. Main discoveries of Nanoscience C60 molecule which is also called as Bucky ball. Some Uses :In diagnostics and Cancer cell treatments Carbon nanotubules 100times Stronger than the steel but 1/6 of heavy, used in polymers as good conductors of heat & Electricity. Nanowires Extremely small threads about 50nm wide. Some Uses : Biosensors, Elec. equipments, Memory chips etc,

  7. Some Known facts • German scientists have created a Nano particle containing polymer that both repels and kills bacteria. Japanese scientists have used nano needles 100 nm wide to deliver materials to very specific points in the cell. ‘Nano-flowers’ produced by growth of silicon carbide nanowires on gallium catalyst particles.

  8. Nanotechnology Today To increase the recording densities of hard disk drives, patterned media has become one of the most promising strategies for achieving recording densities beyond 1 Tbit/in2. The researchers are trying to design HD with morethan 3.3 Tbit/in2.

  9. Nano crystal coating Researchers have unveiled a semiconductor nano crystal coating material capable of controlling heat from the sun while remaining transparent. This heat passes through the film without affecting its visible transmittance, which could add a critical energy-saving dimension to “smart window” coatings.

  10. STILL DEVELOPING NANO Today many companies are developing nanotechnology with any experts. Some of the projects and companies are : Works on Self assembled nano Structures Works on development of Nano-Photonics

  11. Developing quantum dot based displays Integrated circuits with nano-sized features Magneto resistive Random Access Memory (MRAM)

  12. Admirable Application of Nano

  13. Intel core i7

  14. Nanotechnology on Lotus Effect (Water repellent)

  15. Revolution of nano TodayNanoscience revolutionized our world. By using Nanoscience and technology Water purifiers, Solar saving systems, Water repellent systems, New therapy methods, Internal combustion methods in transports , Memory chips, Nano cables in communication technology , construction of Nano robots.

  16. There are various Studies emerged today to develop Nanotechnology with adequate methods Nano engineering Nano science Nano Technology Appied nanotechnology Only one Drawbacks in Nano Nanotechnologies could increase the divide between rich and poor. The application of Nanoscience is growing fast but the availability of that products are little higher so, it may form distance between the Rich and Poor
