Provider Directories: Milestones and Timeline Certificate Discovery for Directed Exchange Revised May 2011 June 2011 July 2011 Aug 2011 Sept 2011 Apr 2011 Use Case • 6/3 – 6/10: • Use case development –user stories, scenarios, context diagrams; • 6/13 – 6/17: • Use case development – scenarios, data flows, sequence and activity diagrams, data elements, functional requirements • 6/20 – 6/24: • Use case development – • policy and regulatory • issues, and other introductory sections • 6/27 – 7/1: • Use case development – final consensus • 6/27 – 7/1: • Standards Analysis • 7/4 – 7/8: • Standards Analysis • 7/11 – 7/15: • Standards Analysis • 7/20: • HIT Standards Committee Review • 8/03: • HIT Policy Committee Review Standards

Certificate Discovery: Consensus Process and Timeline • Following June 24th PD Sprint Team meeting, Use Case package to be submitted for formal consensus with one week period • Each Committed member will review the full Use Case package and then vote “Yes” or “No” on the Wiki • Any “No” votes should be accompanied with actionable feedback which will be addressed • PD - Query for Destination Digital Certificate Use Case Consensus Page: http://wiki.siframework.org/PD+-+Query+for+Destination+Digital+Certificate+Use+Case+Consensus+Page • Address all comments received and present disposition • If time permits, gather verbal consensus on 6/20 SWG meeting and 6/24 Sprint Team and turn those votes into formal votes • Consensus to be completed by 7/1 and handoff to Harmonization on 7/1 meeting

Certificate Discovery for Directed Exchange Work Stream Milestones • The schedule below shows milestones for week 6/20 – 6/24 Tues 6/21 Mon 6/20 Fri 6/24 Wed 6/22 Thurs 6/23 … • Post disposition of comments on Wiki for review • Address any unresolved comments • Gather verbal votes (if time permits) • Post full Use Case to Wiki for formal consensus (1 week period) • Each Committed Member will review Use Case and then provide comment (if any) to be addressed on 6/24 meeting OR vote “Yes” or “No” towards consensus • (NOTE: Only comment received on Wiki by 6/23 COB will be addressed during 6/24 meeting) • Each Committed Member will review Use Case and then provide comment (if any) by COB to be addressed on 6/24 meeting OR vote “Yes” or “No” towards consensus • Analyze comments and assemble unresolved comments to discuss during Friday PD Sprint Team meeting • Address parking lot items & unresolved comments on Use Case • Present and discuss consensus process • Present next steps on Harmonization work • Each Committed Member will review Use Case and then provide comment (if any) to be addressed on 6/24 meeting ORvote “Yes” or “No” towards consensus • (NOTE: Only comments received on Wiki by 6/23 COB will be addressed during 6/24 meeting)
