  1. Omega Chi Epsilon Officer Position Description Final Meeting: November 12th, 2010 Epsilon Chapter The University of Texas at Austin Originally made by Jeff Ting (President Fall 2010!) Good luck to all future officers!

  2. OXE Officer Elections • You must be an OXE officer, active, or pledge to run for an officer position and to cast votes. • Pledges must have all of their requirements and dues paid by the end of today to be eligible for office. • Please keep your speeches short (~1-2 minutes)!

  3. Officer Positions Overview

  4. VP, Corporate, and Treasurer • Vice President: Must be a current OXE officer. The VP automatically becomes president the following semester. Responsibilities include organizing and finding financial support for the firesides and Boat Party/Pig Roast, supporting the president in administrative responsibilities, and leading the OXE Award committee in the spring. • Corporate Liaison: Responsibilities include finding corporate partners for the OXE General Meetings and ordering/picking up food for the meetings. • Treasurer: Responsibilities include keeping budget, depositing collected money, and writing checks and reimbursements.

  5. Secretary, Procurement, and Social • Secretary: Responsibilities include effectively informing pledges of requirements and upcoming event, tracking the requirements of the pledges, and updating the pledges’ status on the website and on the board. • Procurement Chair:This person must own a car. Responsibilities include buying, keeping an inventory, and organizing the snack and drinks. • Social Chair: Responsibilities include organizing and attending all of the fun OXE social events.

  6. Service, Historian, and SEC Rep • Service Chairs (2): One position is reserved for a new inductee. Responsibilities include organizing and attending all of the OXE service events. • Historian: Responsibilities include taking pictures, updating the website, and making flyers for upcoming OXE meetings and events. • SEC Reps (2):One position is reserved for a new inductee. Responsibilities include attending all SEC meetings on every other Monday night, informing officers of SEC activities and funding opportunities, and maintaining OXE's membership in SEC by fulfilling SEC requirements.
