  3. Rosa Parks Facts She was arrested off a bus because she refused to stand on the bus. After she was arrested African-Americans started to boycott the bus do to unfairly arresting Rosa Parks. In1965 Rosa Parks became a member of the staff of U.S. Representative John Conyers, Jr. of Michigan, until she retired in 1988. Back 34 cents Rosa Parks
