  3. Description • This lesson is made to be used for students in animal science class or in any other class where they are required to know the different breeds of beef cattle • It can also be used for students in the Livestock CDE to learn the beef breeds for better knowledge for the contest.

  4. Objectives • Given a description of the breeds qualities and a picture students will be able to identify beef breeds and match characteristics of a breed with the breeds name. Students will need to get 8 out of 10 correct to pass the quiz and complete the lesson

  5. Audience • 9th-12th grade • Animal Science students or FFA Members • Rural Community School • Students who need help learning the different beef breeds

  6. Environment • As an individual • Using a computer • In a quiet area without distractions • Or • Individually • At home • Using a computer with internet access
