  6. Cadet Programme • 138 cadet Corps/Sqns • 71 communities in BC • 4 CSTC’s in BC • 255 buildings either full or part time • 6,500+ cadets • +13,000+ parents or guardians • $21.4 M budget (approx %91 SWE/people)

RCSU (Pac) Responsibilities • Unit training (Corps/Sqdns and CSTC’s) • Admin, fin, log, med, transport, and trg support to 138 Corps/Sqns • Train and Administer CIC officers and CIs • Maximize returns from RCSU (Pac) Budget • Foster positive interaction with our civilian partners – the three Leagues

  9. People Resources • 94 full time staff (18 Reg, 70 Reserves, 6 Public Servant) • 817 CIC Officers quota all ranks • 40 Officers and 73 NCMs off Supp Res • 116 CIs (need to shrink) • 16 on NES • 1105 adult staff on the pay books

Cadet Programme Growth Initiative (CPGI) • 39% Corps/Sqns or 62 units under established 30 cadets minimum • Focus on more cadets, not more units • Retain more cadets, 1st and 2nd yr • Grow numbers of CIC officers • Continue with CPU roll out (polish) • Enhance training of CIC officers (underway) • Involve cadets; development, and implementation
