  2. Bundling Concept • Bundling: Combining or aggregating a number (more than one) of small-scale projects and/or project activities into a single emissions reduction project. Small-scale CDM project activities may be bundled at the following stages in the project cycle: - the project design document, - validation, - registration, - monitoring, - verification and certification. 2

Type of Organization • Private companies, such as ESCOs or FI (such as those that already invest in project activities which re-duce emissions) that may wish to be involved if the business case is strong enough; • • Governmental or NGOs, for reasons associated with rural/sustainable development, poverty alleviation and the provision of essential services; • • Trade or industrial associations to enhance the business of their members; • • Equipment manufacturers or distributors, to increase the sales of a technology; • • Turn-key contractors or small project engineering contractors (including O&M companies), to enhance the viability and revenues of their projects. 4

  7. AEP Livestock Waste Management Project วัตถุประสงค์ • เพื่อลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกที่เกิดจากของเสียในฟาร์มปศุสัตว์ • เพื่อพัฒนาไปสู่การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนและยกระดับมาตรฐานการจัดการของเสียในฟาร์มปศุสัตว์ของประเทศไทยโดยผ่านการสนับสนุนด้วยกลไกการพัฒนาที่สะอาด (CDM) 7

  8. AEP Livestock Waste Management Project • จำนวนฟาร์มที่เข้าร่วมโครงการ 10 ฟาร์มอยู่ในจ.ชลบุรี 1 ฟาร์ม และจ.ราชบุรี 9 ฟาร์ม • จำนวนหมูรวมทั้งสิ้นประมาณ 115,000 ตัว • จำนวนเครดิตที่จะได้รับต่อปีโดยประมาณ60,000 tCO2e/year 8

  9. AEP Livestock Waste Management Project Component 2 Carbon Finance Transaction. This Component will facilitate the purchase of the certified emission reductions (CERs) from the activities. The World Bank-managed Community Development Carbon Fund (CDCF) will finance the purchase of CER credits resulting from the collection of methane and power generation. Component 3Community Benefit Package. This Component will use the additional premium provided by CDCF to implement community development initiatives for communities. Component 1 Construction of Livestock Waste Management Facilities. • construction of physical facilities e.g. covered lagoons, electricity generators, electricity transmission lines, and flaring pipes; • installation of monitoring equipment and devices; and • farmer training 9

  15. ตัวอย่างการรวมโครงการ : โรงฆ่าสัตว์ วัตถุประสงค์ของโครงการ: เพื่อสนับสนุนให้โรงฆ่าสัตว์มีระบบการจัดการน้ำเสียอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ และเกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดทั้งต่อโรงฆ่าสัตว์เองและสิ่งแวดล้อม ซึ่งรวมไปถึงการลดก๊าซเรือนกระจกที่ทำให้โลกร้อน จำนวนโรงฆ่าสัตว์ต่อ 1 bundling project: 40 โรง สำหรับโรงฆ่าสัตว์ขนาดประมาณ 500 ตัวต่อวัน (อัตราการเกิดน้ำเสีย 0.4 m3ต่อตัว COD 12,000 mg/l) จำนวนเครดิตที่คาดว่าจะได้รับ: 62,000 ต่อปี 15
