  3. What is the Remedy ? • Generate Network Effect Network Effect • Positive feedback • Square root of the total number of users Example: Telephone / Orkut / …. Almost all software exhibit Network Effect

  4. EcoSystems What is an EcoSystem ? - System where more than one species interact, grow and flourish. Software Ecosystem Set of related tools, software products and utilities, platforms and environments. Example: General: Open Source Ecosystem Specific: Java Eco System
