  2. A brown bat's life cycle has many steps. • Baby bats are born after about 50-60 days in their mother's body. • Baby bats are born in the month of September, and they stay with their mother until 6 years are over. • The pup will start to fly at 2-3 months of age. Bats Life Cycle

  3. There are many species of bats in Indiana. • Southern Indiana has twelve known species of bats. • They are the Eastern Red Bat, Rafinesque, Big Eared Bat, and the Silver Haired Bat. Some other bat species are the Eastern Pipistrelle, the Hoary, the Evening Bat, the Big Brown, the Little Brown, and the Eastern Small Footed Bat. Bat Species
