  2. Words to Know! Bully-Someone who gets pleasure from hurting or injuring someone Victim-Is someone that gets injured by someone. Cyber bully-Someone who bullies another person by messaging them through email, text, messaging websites such as Facebook. Threaten-To make a threat saying you will harm or punish someone. Standbier-A person who stands near but does not take part in what is happening or a onlooker.

  4. Physical and Verbal Bullying Cyber Bullying • They are jealous. • They have someone at home who bullies them. • They think it’s fun to do. • Some people think it’s fun. • They think they won’t get caught if they are bullying on the internet. Why Bullies Bully?

  5. How Does History Involve With Bullies? It started when blacks and whites couldn’t go to the same school, and a little girl named Ruby Bridges was go to an all white school. The whites didn’t like that she was going there so they took all the other white children out of that school, and every day the moms, dads, and the white boys and girls, and they would spit and yell at Ruby for being black.

  6. What Does Dr. Fane Think About Bullying? Dr. Fane thinks “If you feed the monster it grows!” which means if you show emotion to what the bully says the bully will not stop, because you are just feeding the bully. Also quotes that “Anger is not bad or good, behaviors can be bad or good.” “The fire is courage, and the smoke is bullying.” -Benjamin .D.

  7. 4 Ways to Deal with a Bully 1.Stay Calm- Don’t show any emotion to what the bully says. 2. Asses the likelihood of violence- If you see someone getting bullied go tell a teacher or stand up for that person. 3.Have a thick skin and a sense humor- Laugh at what the bully says don’t let it get to you. 4. Collect evidence- Make sure when the bully is bullying you make sure there is an adult around.

Simon’s HookBy: Karen GedigBurnett Simon had cut his hair wrong and the kids made fun of him by calling him names like , mower head and etc. He then ran home from school and on his way he stopped at his grandma’s and learned a lesson not to bite the hook just ignore it or if it’s a joke don’t be afraid to make fun yourself.
