CHANCE Enquiries (1st July 2006 – 14th February 2008) 1324 enquiries to date Early intervention opportunities given to all these YP 422 enquiries made between 15th October 2007 to 14th February 2008 • 65 Related to truants • 8 Provided intelligence on YPPOs • 6 Informed us of breach of ABC+ • 1 Informed us of breach of ASBO

  6. Youth Inclusion and Support Panel ABC+ & Parenting Support Commitment Signed Parenting Support Programme Initial Assessment Awareness Session Y-PAC 3 Month Review 6 Month Ending Panel ABC+ Support Package

ABC+(1st July 2006 – 14th February 2008) 177 ABC+’s signed • 85% of those who signed their ABC+ programme attended the full package offered • 22 Current ABC+’s being monitored 16 Breaches of ABC+ • 9 Warnings given • 3 Extension of ABC+’s • 4 Continued ASB-ASBO’s applied for • Of the four that continued with ASB, only one had completed the ABC+ package

  8. Benefits More holistic approach to youth ASB Improves communication between agencies Prevents duplication of work More efficient use of time Prevents ‘surprise’ relationships Supports agencies in taking appropriate action
