  1. Compliance of Audit Reports 2010-2011 Audit Report for the year 2010-2011 received from the SIS were reviewed and a deficiency letter indicating the deficiencies/discrepancies in the audited documents and pointing out certain key audit observations were sent to the SIS.

  2. Response to the above letter has not been received from the SIS of the following states:- Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Goa, Gujarat, Jammu &Kashmir, Jharkhand, Lakshadweep, Maharashtra, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Orissa, Puducherry, Punjab, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh & West Bengal.

  3. Further comments / Action Taken Report on the Audit Report for 2010-2011 is also awaited from the SIS of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Meghalaya, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand & Rajasthan

  4. Because of the persistent and longstanding weaknesses in FM system the external development partners disallowed the reported expenditure of the following states and deducted the same for the calculation of their share of expenditure for reimbursement from the total expenditure under SSA for the year 2010-2011.

  5. Bihar - Rs.335490.81 lakhs • Chhattisgarh - Rs.131748.23 lakhs • West Bengal - Rs.302972.08 lakhs • The above matter was also brought to the notice of the SPDs in the above deficiency letter to these State SPDs.

  6. Audit Report compliance is also awaited from the SIS for the following years.

  7. Quarterly Report on the position of settlement of audit objections is not being received regularly from the following SIS despite reminders –Last reminder sent on 16th July 2012: (A&N Island, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Goa,

  8. Gujarat, Lakshwadeep, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Manipur, Maharashtra, Nagaland, Orissa, Punjab, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttarakhand & West Bengal)
