  1. Civil Debate Walls Install interactive “Civil Debate Walls” which provide visually dramatic venues for discussion of topics that are open to the community. This type of social media tool is in use at Bob Graham Center for Public Service at the University of Florida, http://www.civildebatewall.com/whatisthis. Questions are posted and the results are displayed in real time. A mobile app makes it possible to follow the debate and receive updates. Encourage Interaction

  2. Civil Debate Walls The Wall can be a venue for asking a variety of questions on local, state and national issues that would benefit from community discussion. The library is the perfect place for expanding the way our community looks at issues. The Wall would be a unique social media tool – one that could revolutionize civil debate and political conversation. It would operate in real time and could be synchronized to its own website. Users could post their opinions or join an existing debate. The Wall could be a portal to a new age of civic communication. Other forms of personal expression could also be featured, such as poetry or participative art. Displays of supporting information on topics of interest would be accompany each opportunity for interaction at the wall. Encourage Interaction
