Last checks of pp 62 FS

Last checks of pp 62 FS. A.Qviller. Settings 2A/B1723 and 3A/B 1723 are analysed with:. No CC vtx. Normalisation towards total CC yield within -60+40 times a factor of 3. Vtx bins 5 cm, 2% accmaps RICH cut X=+-20 Y=+-15. Back of T5 cut (Y=+-14) Fixed 6 sigma cut on back projected y-vertex.

  1. Last checks of pp 62 FS A.Qviller

  2. Settings 2A/B1723 and 3A/B 1723 are analysed with: • No CC vtx. Normalisation towards total CC yield within -60+40 times a factor of 3. • Vtx bins 5 cm, 2% accmaps • RICH cut X=+-20 Y=+-15. Back of T5 cut (Y=+-14) • Fixed 6 sigma cut on back projected y-vertex. • Require trigger 2 • Bins with less than 0.6 factor of average acceptance are removed

  3. Settings 2A/B1723 and 3A/B 1723 are analysed with: • Flat RICH eff (97%) (not using parametrised eff) • p, pbar are corrected for RICH contamination (3%) • nkv2 file for tracking eff. Using XA. • Newest geant files with cut factor 4 for FS. • Chi square cut that removes a small fraction of tracks on Const*(A+B/p) form

  4. Status of analysis • MRS analysis is within 5% with FV, considered ok. • FS spectra in the interval ~6-8% below FV analysis dated 2007-10-29 • Seems to be species independant (k- and p have also been inspected)

  5. Pi plus

  6. Pi minus

  7. Slat 24 is poor in all settings

  8. PID seems ok (2B1723)

  9. Inefficient (blue) area in front T5
