OPSC External Training Kick Off Meeting

The Office of Public School Construction will be conducting an informational meeting on the topic “External Training”. The OPSC will be going over the following trainings planned for 2011 which include:

  • Financial Hardship

  • How to Apply for School Facilities Funding, Part I: Submitting a Complete Application

  • How to Apply for School Facilities Funding, Part II: New Construction Eligibility and Funding

  • How to Apply for School Facilities Funding, Part V: Site Acquisition

  • Adds the following provisions under Education Code Section 38086:

    “…a school district shall provide access to free, fresh drinking water during meal times in the food service areas of the schools..., including, but not necessarily limited to, areas where reimbursable meals under the National School Lunch Program or federal School Breakfast Program are served or consumed.”

  • Effective July 1, 2011
