  2. Character Synopsis • Jack’s appearance is part human and part aardvark, he wondered off one day from home when he was young into the woods nearby. • His mum always told him never drink the water from the river nearby no matter how thirsty he was. As a mischievous boy, he chose not to listen and wanted to know what was so bad about this mysterious river. He took a couple of handfuls to drink and within seconds, his human body started to transform into an aardvark. He paced up and down the woods in a panic trying to find his way back home but he couldn’t remember the way back. • Now Jack lives in the woods by himself. Jack tried to adapt to life in the woods by building himself a cabin, but that was destroyed with a strong gust of wind. The only thing he has left is a balloon, which he found caught in a tree.
