  3. ACOE Program FY 06 Changes • Qualification board versus regional boards • IMA identified as the responsible agency for training and certifying examiners for IMA HQ board • IMA HQ will delineate/clarify expectations of an annual Organizational Self Assessment ( OSA) for all garrisons ( OSA Tool)

  4. ACOE Qualification Board • Board composed of Baldrige experts • Calibration/rigor is standardized for all potential contenders • Allows for a streamlined ACOE IMA HQ boarding process of 7-9 days versus 14 days • Efficiencies allow for funding to be used for training versus separate regional boarding ( examiner training) • Allows for feedback reports to be returned 6-8 months earlier for non-contenders • Cost savings will be invested in cadre development

  5. Organizational Self Assessment ( OSA) Tool • User friendly – easy to populate • Survey framework versus narrative format • Will provide full APIC/Baldrige feedback report and potential score • Will capture OFI’s and strengths of garrison • Baseline OSAs will be due in March and September ‘06

  6. The Way Ahead • Call for Examiners released 6/17/2005 • Call for Examiners and MOI can be found on the IMA Website • Examiner training Aug/Sep FY 05 • OSA pilot deployment early FY 06 • Multi-media DVD incorporating APIC and strategic planning curriculum
