AMFA Foundation • Founded 1997 • Mission: To create sustainable pilot programs and innovative approaches to ensure access to high-quality, affordable medicines and supplies by health care professionals in charitable hospitals and clinics in a way that encourages and promotes the local economy in developing countries around the world

AMFA South Africa • Founded 1997 • Mission: To provide an African solution to an African problem by developing an African-based supply chain management system to provide African-manufactured medicines to African healthcare ministries • 230 essential generic medicines and supplies • Only sourced from WHO approved and GMP certified pharmaceutical manufacturers (Kenya, Lesotho, South Africa, and Zambia) • Conduct independent quality tests of medicines for product efficacy and stability at CENQAM • Just-in-time ordering and delivery system with 4 to 6 weeks turnaround
