  1. February 24, 2014 Do Now: What are some major obstacles when conducting research and why? Aim: What are the basic requirements for the Orcas in Captivity research paper? HW:Writing Lab 235 every day. Minimum of five (5) articles due Friday supporting your side of the research paper. All articles must be annotated and/or highlighted.

  2. Basic Requirements • A minimum of 2-4 pages • Typed • Double Spaced • 12 pt Times New Roman font • Works Cited Page (not included in 2-4 pages) • A title page must be included (picture optional) • One staple in the top left corner

Basic Requirements (con’ t) • Introduction -Grabber -Thesis -3 Main Points • Body Paragraph # 1 • First significant reason to support your thesis. • A minimum of 3 quotes to support your point • Body Paragraph # 2 • Second significant reason to support your thesis. • A minimum of 3 quotes to support your point
