  1. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, his incomparably great power for us who believe. -Ephesians 1:17-19

  2. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.-Ephesians 3:16-19

  10. 1. Have a clear definition of your moral non-negotiables. 2. Tend tiny, moral decisions. Your soul is not sold in one great auction; it is bartered away in thousands of tiny trades. 3. Seek your security in Christ. Security, for the Christian, is never based on what one can see; it is founded on promises given by a loving, Heavenly Father. 4. Have a godly support group to go to for spiritual support and accountability. 5. In crises mobilize prayer and then listen for the answer. 6. Maintain the kind of character and reputation that will recommend you when the “big opportunity” comes along. 7. Make it clear that when it comes to doing what is right, you can’t be bought.

  11. 8. Be willing to be viewed as a “fanatic” to pursue your relationship with God and practice your faith. 9. Gain understanding; it is more valuable than wealth, power or prestige. 10. There is no substitute for excellence; it is the path to success and high praise. 11. Character and wisdom are acquired, not innate, and— in the long run—will overpower talent and charisma. 12. Don’t be preoccupied with either titles or labels. It’s better to be known by your character than your nomenclature.

God would give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Himself; They would know . . . 1. the hope to which they have been called 2. the riches of God’s inheritance in the saints 3. the greatness of God’s power; They would be strengthened through the Holy Spirit in the inner self; Christ would dwell in their hearts by faith; They would have the ability to know Christ’s unfathomable love so they might be filled with God’s fullness.
