  3. The project is underway… American Red Cross Create 3 mini child- appropriate lessons Create 3 simple songs 1 per lesson Biology 1000 Music 1000 Teach the children about health using musical lessons

  6. Your Opportunity… • Awards – 2 teams of 2 faculty from distinct/ interdisciplinary majors • Stipend Part I (Spring 2005) - $312.50 per faculty– development & preparation • Stipend Part II - $312.50 per faculty– upon completion of collaborative effort

  7. What is Required? • Collaborate with a faculty member from a cross disciplinary major • Develop and implement the course in 2005-2006 (Dean’s approval) • Distribute evaluations • Attend end-of-year awards ceremony

The intended courses – • Summarize objectives • How community service will enhance objectives? • Copies of both syllabi • The community service – • What type of organization? • What kind of work? • How will it benefit everyone? • How will you develop community relationship? • How help students understand significance of their participation?
