  2. 10 Camel Facts • Camels can go without water for over a week • Camels can go without food for months at a time • Camels have A LOT of eyelashes to keep sand from getting in their eyes • Camels have 2 toes on each foot which keeps them from sinking into the sand • You can only find domesticated dromedary camels; there is no more wild dromedaries left • A camel’s hump is used to store fat • Dromedary camels have 1 hump • Bactrian camels have 2 humps • Bactrian camels can be found in Mongolia and China • Camels can lose 40 percent of their body weight and still survive

  8. Camels Camels are pretty awesome, am I right? I didn’t really understand camels and I didn’t think that they were very cool until I finally researched them. I found a lot of interesting facts.
