    • Uniform model applied to all AFRs

  • Another model:

    • Excellence is not absolute

    • Different paths to achieve excellence

      • Depends on where one is in their career

    • Excellent teaching portfolio

  • For others:

    • Need a minimum level of activity in all 3 criteria

    • Different areas of focus

      • Reward excellence in other areas

    • Examples:

      • Lead an effort for a center/expeditions

      • Nationally prominent service
