5 year combined data sets

Please note that 5-year combined data may vary depending upon which years were analyzed, and whether the questions were asked as the core, optional module or state-added questions.

For example:  your core questions will have responses that are asked each year.

However, optional module/state-added questions were most likely asked every other year.

COSTS FOR STATE ADDED &OPTIONAL MODULE

  • BRFSS has been in existence for more than a decade. It is the only source of its size able to provide prevalence data on Chronic Disease and High Risks behaviors.

    • Making it an integral component for health promotion and intervention planning throughout Arizona.

  • Recently BRFSS budgets have been cut and we are now looking at a $150,000 short-fall.

    • *Note* for 2013 the shortfall could be as high as $200,000.

  • If necessary in 2013, WOULD any of your programs be willing to contribute ADDITIONAL FUNDING?

Costs for state added optional module1

State-added and Optional Module costs will increase from $2,000 to possibly $3,100 per question.
