Visual Art Opportunity Craft: Pirate Paper Doll • Everyone will get a cutout of a female figure, and they will color shirt and pants to reflect Grace O’Malley in a creative way (i.e. Shamrock pants, crown, crazy pirate hair) • Demonstrates how real events can easily get fictionalized and exaggerated and is a fun creative outlet

  5. Creative Writing • Group Prompt: Think about Grace O’Malley, her husband, her crew members, and other characters. Write a skit about an imaginary adventure they have on board the pirate ship. Be sure to include information from the text about locations, and please include at least one vocabulary word.
