APA Goal 10 • Career Planning and Development • Students will emerge from the major with realistic ideas about how to implement their psychological knowledge, skills, and values in occupational pursuits in a variety of settings. • Commonly referred to as: • The psychology major’s preparation of students for life after college

Employability Definitions • Employability: one’s potential to be employed • Independent of economy, personal choices of students • This construct can be assessed • What does it take for students to gain that potential?
