ERCOT Updates for October 2016: • Incident Report Highlights: • Service Availability – October • Retail Market IT systems met all SLA targets • Incidents & Maintenance – October • 10/16/16 – Planned Maintenance (Site Failover – Retail Processing, MarkeTrak, Find ESIID, Find Transaction) • MarkeTrak Performance: • Because November RMS fell so early in the month, October MarkeTrak performance metrics were not complete • October MarkeTrak performance metrics will be communicated at the next TDTMS and RMS RMS Update to TAC

ERCOT Updates for October 2016: • Flight 1016 Summary • Flight 1016 signup began 09/07/16 • Flight 1016 was scheduled to conclude on 10/21/16 (Contingency/Adhoc Period until 11/18/16) • As of 10/28/2016 Flight 1016 is 98.21% complete • 3 New CRs are testing • 1 Existing CR is testing for additional territories • 1171 tasks were scheduled including connectivity • Adhoc Testing Summary • Adhoc signup deadline was 10/21/16 • All scripts to be completed by 11/18/16 • As of 10/28/16 Adhoc testing is 91.02% complete • 3 Existing CRs are testing for Service Provider change • 256 tasks were scheduled including connectivity RMS Update to TAC

ERCOT Updates for October 2016: • Inadvertent Gain (IAG) or Loss (IAL) Report • http://ercot.com/content/wcm/key_documents_lists/79781/07._Inadvertent_Stats_-_August_2016.pptx • A lot of discussion and market concerns were expressed by RMS due to the high percentage and number of monthly recurrences by the same REPs as depicted in the report. • ERCOT stated after reviewing the previous Retail Market Training attendance sheets these same REPs attendance were as little as10%. • For complete disclosure, ERCOT stated they have met with PUCT Staff on these reports to explain the reporting and the correlation between CR DUNs and the ERCOT assigned REP number found within this report. Working Group/Taskforces Updates • Texas Data Transport and MarkeTrak Systems (TDTMS) • Inadvertent Gain Reporting • TDTMS reviewed the refined format and reached consensus that no further changes would be necessary. • ERCOT will include the raw data files used to produce the IAG reports in future reports so that MPs can customize/filter the metrics as desired (competitive information will remain confidential). • Collaborative effort with RMTTF to enhance IAG education materials: • Tips & Tricks • IAGs Cliff Notes version documentation • New segment in the IAG training series providing a guide to reading the IAG/IAL graphs and reports. • SCR786 User Orientation Documentation • Created material that describes the background, intended uses and functionality of the Retail Market Test Environment (RMTE). • Continue to further develop additional material such as an issue tracking form and develop the method of communicating with ERCOT, when necessary. Working Group/Taskforces Updates • Texas SET: • NPRR796, Extended Character Set Clean Up Review • Concerns expressed about removing language before we have long term solution in place. • Recommendation by TX SET, ERCOT will take NPRR 796 back to make revisions to add language that supports their manual workaround processes. Per ERCOT, these changes should be available for TX SET review and discussions during their November 30th meeting. • Continued to create “New Entrant” Documentation, which includes a Checklist of Retail activities. This was one of the Lessons Learned carry over from the SU Transition to the Retail Market project. • Retail Market Continuity Discussions (RMS Working Groups) • TX SET led meetings on September 22, October 20 with final discussions held yesterday on November 30th. • Developed processes that includes During , Post and Clean-up activities.
