Career in Software Testing • The job of a software tester is to find and report the differences between the actual and expected behaviour of a software product. • The education needed and set of skills required are easy to learn. • With 4-6 months of our qa training and internship • who want to get a well paid job and have a limited amount of time on their hands.
What does a Software Tester do? • A Software Tester/Software Test Engineer performs testing of software applications and is a member of the Quality Assurance team in a software company. Various types of testing are performed on different phases of the Software Development Life Cycle to find errors and assure quality. The main responsibility of Software Tester is to validate that the software works according to the requirements and to make sure that it is reliable, secure and easy to use. • Software testing is a unique niche in a job market that allows regardless of your previous profession, background, and age, to get an interesting, respected, and well-paid job in a relatively short amount of time.
Is an age a factor in getting a job as a software tester? • Skills that come with age such as common sense, judiciousness in decision making, patience, and tolerance to the routine are highly valued for Software Testing and viewed as an advantage, not a disadvantage. • Software companies perfectly understand this when hiring new employees. • The majority of our students are between 25 to 50 years old and have all found jobs without problems.
What's the benefit of taking an online course? • Time flexibility: with online course, it is much easier for people to work full time and go to school. An online class allows you to tailor your learning schedule to your needs (you can work the class around your schedule, instead of having to work your schedule around the class). Certification • Upon successful completion of software testing training (average grade of all assignments and quizzes is 60% or higher), student will be awarded the Certificate of Successful Graduation. • If the average grade of all assignments and quizzes is less than 60%, the student will be awarded with Certificate of Attendance.
