  5. Arc de Triomphe http://www.see-and-do-france.com/arc-de-triomphe.html

  6. Arc de Triomphe • This famous arch is located in France. You may have seen this monument during the last leg of the tour de France. It also has an a elevator inside that can bring you to the top to look out to the Paris from inside the arch. This is triumph to many solider who lost there lives in wars. This may look like just an arch to the outside but inside is a memorial to soldiers and the heroes of the French. This is one of many well know landmarks of France and there people.

  7. Le Panthéon http://www.see-and-do-france.com/le-pantheon.html

  8. Le Panthéon • Are we in Greece or France I don’t know? No we are still in France of course so what in the world is this then a roman memorial no. It is actually it is a funeral hall of fame and yes it is modeled after a roman building. Ok guess how many times building has changed purposes. Four times how many things was it you ask it had four different purposes through it whole life not really only two it was a church and a Panthéon. This is the place were every famous French hero lies.

  9. D-day Beach http://www.see-and-do-france.com/d-day-beaches.html http://www.see-and-do-france.com/famous-french-monuments.html

  10. D-day beaches • The beginning of the end of world war 1. This is the beaches were the biggest and most important in WW1 had token place there are many museums and plaques along these beaches. This battle has been recreated many times in movies. It was actually suppose to happen a day sooner but postponed due to rough waters. This attack was the attack that started they take over of France this area was forever shaken after that faithful Summer day.

  11. Palace of Versailles http://www.see-and-do-france.com/palace-of-versailles.html

  12. Palace of Versailles • This palace was a place of the signing of one famous signing in means of treaties. That signing is called the Treaty of Versailles. Which ended WW1 for ever. It is full of beautiful ceiling paintings and chandelles. It is a huge tourist ground and holds many events during the summer. It has one beautiful garden ground that is very popular among the visitors. This may sometimes just look like a tourist attraction or is just there to make money but is more then that it is history that is still around today for all of us to visit.

  13. Château Chantilly http://www.see-and-do-france.com/chateau-chantilly.html

  14. Château Chantilly • The name is James. James Bonds you may know this catch phrase from his movies but you may not know is that the Château Chantilly is in one. But you don’t have to see the movie to see this building it is very real and it is in France. It is known not just for the movie but it does help its case. It is a living museum but there is more then that it is more known for its horses and stables. The real neat fact is that this building my not look like it was built around the French revolution but it was. It was unluckily almost destroyed it was used as a prison. It had been fully restored to it 17th century feel during the 19th century.
