Introducing the Merage School Business Plan Competition • Eleventh year running • Provides deal flow to • Tech Coast Angels, Orange County • Venture Capital~Private Equity Roundtable, Palo Alto • Open to all UCI students, researchers and faculty • Each team must have at least 3 members • Each team must have at least 2 full time, currently registered UCI students, one must be a Merage student

Benefits of Participation • Key skill to have whatever one does in life • Develop team leadership and business creation skills • Consummate networking opportunity: meet investors • $30,000 in cash awards • Free download of Business Plan Pro by Palo Alto Software • 4 great skills workshops taught by experts in their fields • Potentially create first job out of college • Semi-Finalists post elevator pitch at OC Register.com • Bottom line: It’s about realizing dreams
