Experience • Member of National Honors Society • Member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society at LCCC • Member of Phi Mu Fraternity at BWU • Member of Sigma Tau Delta (Honorary English Society) • Member of Gamma Sigma Alpha (National Academic Greek Honors Society) • CYO camp counselor for 2 years • Classroom aide

  6. Thoughts on Teaching • Teaching is one of the most difficult, yet most important careers. • It is not just a career, but a lifestyle. • Teaching is the basis for creating all other professions.

Hints for Success • You will learn something in this classroom every single day, as long as you put in the required effort. • Be respectful of others. • Complete your assignments on time and to the best of your ability. • Be an active thinker and participate in class discussions. • Every question is worth asking. • Don’t hesitate to come talk to me about any problems or concerns you may have.

  8. My Pledge to Students • I will give you my trust. Don’t compromise that. • I will welcome your opinions as long as they are expressed in a respectful manner. • I will do whatever it takes to help you succeed in this class.
