  2. Sponsorship • There are sponsor letters and sponsorship level sheet on the website. If you are requesting sponsorship then you will need to take these sheets to the person or business that you will be getting sponsors from. • There are levels of sponsorship and there incentives for each one. Ex. If you get a $50 then you will get $35 off the $50. Contact Kristine and she will give you the incentives for each level of sponsorship. • Rochester Franchise Association is a non-profit (501c3) organization. • Please Include levels of sponsorship form with payment. • This is a tax deductible donation

Registration Process • https://registration2.pointstreak.com/rfs/pslogin.do?leagueNo=2766&season=1986 • The First step of this Registration Process is to create an account with all your guardian information which you will use for all future registrations. The second step will be to add your child or children to your account. Once this is done you will proceed with this seasons individual registration. • PLEASE NOTE this is an individual/family based registration, and therefore you are about to create a Individual/Family Account. • New Individual/Family Accounts should only be created if you are registering yourself or a family member. • Regional 1st Installment will be $300 ($200) due by March 17.  NO CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED! Registration Fee will have to be paid on-line by the due date.  If you do not have debit or credit card then you will need to email Melissa Volpe via email at volpe.melissa@jobcorps.org to see about accepting cash or money order. • Elite 1st Installment will be $400 ($750) due by March 17.  NO CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED!  Registration Fee will have to be paid on-line by the due date.  If you do not have debit or credit card then you will need to email Melissa via email at volpe.melissa@jobcorps.org to see about accepting cash or money order.   • Our First Fundraiser will be offered at the first practice for anyone that wants to offset the registration fee.  You will have to ask in advance if you need to do the first fundraiser.  You should email Kristin at ktmm2@aol.com requesting to do the fundraiser.  Attachment below are the fundraisers that Franchise will be offering this year.   • Any parent/guardian who wish to pay in person need request before March 17.  You will still need to register on-line. • No player will be able to participate in practice or tournaments until payment and registration are complete. • Any parent/guardian who wish to pay all in full can do so when you checkout after registration is done on-line.  • Attached form and letter below is request for Sponsorship.  Rochester Franchise Basketball Association is a non-profit (501c3) organization. This is a tax deductible donation. • Refund Policy • The only refunds are for kids who are injured at the beginning of the season before playing in a tournament.  NO other refunds.

History of Franchise • Affiliated with CWNY for 3 yrs. • Established in 2005 ( 5 teams) • In that span of time we have over 350 players • Players Development • Captain U Recruiting Service • Many of our players went on to play at various levels of college basketball or football • Run entirely by adult volunteers and parents • Embraces its potential to reduce juvenile crime, decrease high risk activities like alcohol, tobacco and drugs • Encourage meaningful relationships with adults through positive role models. • Our teams have competed in Cleveland, Akron, Boston, New York City, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Richmond to name a few. • Over the past 6 years, teams have qualified for AAU Tournaments held in Memphis, Disney World and went to Vegas for the biggest tournament of the year. • We also represented the United States in a International competition in France • 2009, Competed in the national tournament held at Espn sports center in Orlando, Florida, finishing 12th in the country. • We have trips that are once-in-lifetime cultural and social opportunities – touring the civil rights museum, the assassination site of Martin Luther King., The Eiffel Tower, the Louver and of course Disney World • Rochester Franchise Basketball Association is a non-profit (501c3) organization.

Parent Reminder: • Everything should be completed and done on-line • Make sure you read all necessary paper work on-line before registering • Franchise will be having Mandatory Parent Meeting an 1 hour before your schedule practice on March 17th and or March 18th at Wilson Commencement HS. Players will not be able to practice if a parent/guardian or relative is not present for Parent Meeting. • Have copy of birth certificate by first practice • Elite 1st Installment will be $400 (pay online due by March 17) • Regional 1st Installment will be $300 (pay online due March 17) • Fundraising will be available to help offset cost of registration fee. Kristine will be present March 17 & 18 to assist anyone with fundraising options. • 1st Fundraiser will be available for pick up on March 17 or March 18th practice. • All practice will start March 17 and or March 18 at Wilson Commencement HS (501 Genesee St., Rochester NY 14611), Times TBA • We required volunteer service for all organization events • Coaches will have a parent meeting after practice on March 17 or March 18. • Any additional paperwork that is not done online will need to be completed and brought to practice March 17 • All Coaches will provide tournament and practice schedule at First practice • If you do not have debit or credit card then you will need to pay cash or money order at the first practice. CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED! • Payment plans will only be accepted by the Director of Operation.

  8. Finance • All cost and any financial question will be answer at mandatory parent meeting on March 17 and or March 18 an hour before schedule practice. • There will be fundraiser option and sponsorship forms at parent meeting on March 17 or 18.

  10. Fundraising • 2012 Fund – Raising Options • All fund-raising options must be administrated through Rochester Franchise Basketball. Individuals will then have ongoing fees discounted or be reimbursed appropriately. • Raffle Tickets: Raffle tickets are sold for $10 per ticket and you will get $7 dollars credit towards your registration. You will get increments of 10 – 20 tickets. Ex. If you sell 10 tickets then you will get $70 off your registration fee. • Scratch and Help Fundraising Books: Present books to family, friends, neighbors, who get to “scratch off” two spots to see what their donation amount will be. For donation they receive a sheet of 10 valuable coupons to use at popular food chains etc. Every completed coupon “book” earns $100 of which the player will get $70 off their registration fee. • Golf Tournament Hole Sponsorships: Sell one (1) Gold Package Sponsorship for $100 or two (2) Silver Package sponsorships at $50 each. (THIS IS REQUIRED of each player). After that athletes will earn $25 for every $100 in hole sponsorships they sell. $100 Hole Sponsorship - Companies will receive recognition throughout the event including a tee sign on one hole as well as being listed in the program and on the Franchise Basketball website. $50 Hole Sponsorship – Company will receive recognition in the program and on the Franchise Basketball website

Hotel & Travel Info. • All Hotel and travel questions will be answer at mandatory parent meeting on March 17 and or March 18 an hour before schedule practice. • We will assigned players hotel rooms and offer the same rate to any parent that wants to stay in the same hotel. • We rely on Parents driving to games and possible car pooling.

  12. Practice & Tournament Schedule • March practice schedule will be available on March 17 and will be online • Tournament schedule will be available on March 17 and online • April practice schedule TBA • Players Development Night will start the second week of April • Nationals for each Grade level will be posted on website • All schedule and travel questions will be answer at mandatory parent meeting on March 17 an hour before schedule practice.
