  3. Site Ranking I have the Rec a four star rating because they let me be apart of anything that I asked to be. I set in on the associate directors meeting which my supervisor here for the past three years doesn’t even get to sit in on. They gave me enough work to where I could learn, but not so much that I was stressing out about finishing by my dead lines. They gave me opportunities to do work in areas that I wasn’t familiar about; aquatics. I would highly recommend this site to anyone who wants to pursue a career in sporting facilities; because let us be honest faculties are always needed in our industry.

Internship Objectives • Develop and design and direct a disciple council for the facility staff. • Survey professional staff for leadership and how they manage staff verses student staff. • Develop and design surveys to distribute to various universities at the Peer and Regional levels of institutions. • Research clocks for the facility to install. • Aquatics personnel and scheduling.

  9. Daily Activities • Attend meetings • Payroll for lifeguards • Lifeguard Schedule • Project management • Keeping a working relationship with the guards • Thinking outside the box for ways to do new things around the natatorium. • Make me bosses happier than they were before I was here.

  10. Project Description • To develop and get approved and then implement a way for the student staff in the facilities department to self-discipline each other as a way to help clean up the problems we are having within the student staff without involving the administrative staff. We are trying to do this because I know the student staff very well and I am respect by most. We feel that this could be a great thing for me to work on because it will allow me to think through people personnel and allow me to learn how to manage a student staff better.
