  1. Buy Generic Medicines for High Cholesterol medbuzz.in/blogs/buy-generic-medicines-for-high-cholesterol What is Cholesterol and High Cholesterol? Cholesterol is an important molecule and an equally important component for the structure of animal cell membranes. It is a waxy, fat-like substance that is made by the body itself and is critical to production of hormones, Vitamin D and even for efficient food digestion. The normal cholesterol level in an adult is considered to be less than 200 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL). If the level of the cholesterol is between 200 and 239, then it is in the borderline, and if the level is 240 mg/dL and above it becomes high cholesterol which can be dangerous to the overall health. Generic Medicines Once you start the medicine to control the high cholesterol, you cannot stop having it unless your doctor says so. This is because, if your body gets into the tendency of creating more cholesterol than is required, it will probably never stop from it. High cholesterol has no symptoms as such, but it can result in multiple diseases such as breathlessness, heart diseases, obesity etc. As is pretty common, most people go for branded medicines and not generic medicines. With due respect to the profession, yet the famous medicinal brands have a bigger and better distribution channel and team of medical representatives. This results in these medicines being prescribed by more and more doctors. Needless to say, branded medicines are costly too. Using a generic medicine, in place of branded one, however, can address this concern. We shall discuss about the generic medicines but before that, let us have a look at some of the commonly used branded 1/6

  6. A Note on Why to Buy Generic Medicine Online Generic medicines, as we had mentioned in one of our earlier blogs also contain the same salt as the branded ones. They are adequately tested and certified too. However, since they do not have to spend a lot on marketing and are made by relatively smaller firms, they are really inexpensive. Many doctors have started prescribing their patients to buy generic medicines online lately because of their cost effectiveness. Moreover, it is super affordable to buy generic medicines and hence even the poorest of the poors can use them. The problem, however, is the lack of awareness about them. At MedBuzz, we plan to fight that lack of education about Generic Medicines. Hence, we have come up with an online portal cum app eco-system which will deliver these low-cost generic medicines, straight to your home! All you need to do is, update the prescription so that we know your requirements and then, we will look for the relevant generic medicines in our stock and send them out to you! Conclusion Branded medicines are costly but if you buy generic medicines then you will see that they aren’t. Plus, generic medicines contain the same salts too. All you need to do is to ask your doctor for the name of one and then you can purchase it. Also Read : The Online Pharmacy Market in India 6/6
