Schedule • 7:50-8:15- Arrival • 8:20-8:25- Announcements • 8:25-8:55- Intervention Time • 8:55-9:45- Reading • 9:45-10:20- Language Arts (Workstations) • 10:20-10:55- Writers Workshop • 11:10-11:40 Lunch • 11:40-12:10- Recess and Restroom • 12:10- 1:15 Math • 1:15- 1:45- Science • 1:45-2:15- Social Studies • 2:15-3:00- Large Group (PE, Art, Music)

  3. Large Group Schedule • Monday-PE • Tuesday- Music • Wednesday- Music and PE • Thursday- PE • Friday- Art

  4. S.T.A.R. Binders • Parts of the binder • Check binder each night • Sign Assignment notebook each night • Replace when broken or unusable • Notes inside

  5. Behavior Chart • Explain Colors • Assignment Notebook will have the color your child was on that day. • Please sign the assignment notebook each day to show that you have seen their behavior. • These colors will be averaged together for a conduct grade on the Tuesday folder and the report card.

  7. Workstations • What? – Child centered learning • When?- Everyday • How?- Small groups/ Rotation • Why?- Students learn more efficiently when they can use what they have learned. Students learn from their classmates. Allows for small group instruction and reteaching by the teacher.
