  2. SHRM Foundation Overview/Updates The Power of the Foundation – in the words of our members……. The Power of the Foundation Our Mission: The SHRM Foundation advances global human capital knowledge and practice by providing thought leadership and educational support; and sponsoring, funding and driving the adoption of cutting edge, actionable, evidence-based research. “I will continue to be a SHRM member as the organization continues to communicate HR trends that empower me and keep me up to date on best practices. I would encourage HR professionals to become a member and get their certification, it will be the best validation of their career.” “I never thought in a million years I would be blessed to receive such a scholarship with so many SHRM members. It has been a privilege to have attended many annual conferences gaining knowledge in this ever-changing world of human resources…It has given me confidence in myself and the knowledge I need to provide an employer with best practices that they expect from an employee.” “The one stop shop of SHRM has enabled me to utilize resources to support and defend my actions and recommendations as an HR professional. I look forward to the benefits SHRM provides and thank the Foundation for a wonderful gift to allow me to take my career to the next level. THANK YOU SHRM.”
