  2. welcome Welcome to Camp Zoneat Chesterbrook Academy Camp Zone® offers fun-filled summer programs for children currently in Kindergarten – Fifth Grade ages 5-12.Each week, campers jump into action, participating in exciting sports programs, exploring nature, becoming involved in performing and creative arts, playing a part in group activities, and attending special events. Our campers have the opportunity to expand their horizons during the summer, embarking on new adventures, and having fun! Our exceptional program and dedicated staff create an environment that forges lifelong friendships among our campers. We create a summer experience that is unforgettable! It all starts with our outstanding camp counselors. A camp is only as good as its staff, and we are extremely proud of ours. Talent, creativity, love of children, leadership and devotion make our camp counselors the heart and soul of the program. We take our camp programs seriously and begin our summer with intensive staff training and orientation. Camp Zone® counselors and specialists are doing exactly what they enjoy most: spending a summer inspiring campers to explore, reach for new heights, and expand their horizons. Camp Zone® gives you choices. Camp Zone® includes five days of activities, from 8:30am – 3:30 pm. We offer a range of outdoor activities, plus indoor activities conducted in our fully air conditioned facility. Our specialty camps are optional programs, operating during regular camp hours, which provide even more choices for unique and exciting adventures.   3. highlights The Camp Zone Experience Sample Daily Schedule Exciting Activities this Year! ***New *** Field Hockey – All Campers A team sport which is played between two teams of eleven players with hockey sticks and a ball. It is known as one of the easiest sports there is. Geocaching”- All Campers Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment. “KLUTZ” Activities-- All Campers Designed for doing, NOT just reading. Klutz has it all: drawing, bead art, fairies, jewelry, magic, science, and more. Klutz books and activities are perfect for exploring new creative interests and for expanding on old favorites. Most activities come in multiple themes to appeal to discerning creative minds. Specialty Specialty Camp Descriptions Soccer Shots PremiereAges 5 to 12 This program is for children who are new to soccer or who want to build upon what they have learned in Soccer Shots Classic.  Focusing on individual skill, fitness, and sportsmanship, each session provides an opportunity for kids to be challenged through fun games and team competitions.  Children will also be introduced to tactical elements of the game as they prepare to play on competitive teams.“ Dates: July 22 – 26thTime: 9:30 am —11:00 am Cost: $120.00 Photography Camp All Ages Experience the world around you through the eyes of a camera lens. Campers learn the basics of photography while exploring their own photographic creativity. Campers will be stretching their creative side as they select objects and angles to shoot. Digital camera required. Dates: July 22nd – 26th Time: 1:30 pm— 2:30 pm Cost: $40.00 Cardio Funk CampAges 7 to 12 Keep your kids moving to a different beat as they learn fun and funky dance routines! Zumba-style, Hip-Hop and current dance hits will keep these campers hopping. Dates: July 15th – 19th Time: 3:30 – 4:30 pm Cost: $65.00 Cheerleading Camp Ages 6 to 12 This energetic camp teaches the basics of cheerleading. Technique, cheers, chants and jumps. A parent-invited Pep Rally will end the camp. Campers receive a cheer manual and set of pom-poms. Dates: July 8th – 12th Time: 10:00am — 11:00am Cost: $85.00 Yoga CampAges 6 to 12 Fun. Flexible. Focus. Through music, stories, creative play and crafts, campers will explore the fun and exciting path of yoga. All that is Needed is a yoga mat and an open mind. Namaste! Dates: June 24th – 28th Time: 10:00 am — 11:00 am Cost: $75.00 Tennis Camp Ages 5 to 12 Fun instruction focused on proper technique and play, team concepts, and individual skill development. Scrimmages are part of this great experience. Dates: Session I June 24 – June 28th Session II July 29 – Aug. 2nd Time: 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Cost: $110.00

  5. Specialty Camp Descriptions (continued) Schedule and specific activities are subject to change with parental notification. Swimming Lessons Ages 5 to 12 The primary goals of the lessons are twofold; one, to help swimmers improve their technical skills, and two, to help educate and motivate swimmers to encourage their progress. Swimmers are taught in a structured and enjoyable environment that emphasizes individual improvement. The camp focuses on stroke instruction.Participants will be broken into smaller groups based upon age and ability, which will allow for individualized instruction. Dates: June 17 – June 28th July 1st – July 12th July 15th – July 26th July 29th – Aug. 2nd Time: AM & PM Scheduled Times Cost: $65.00 Chef Camp All Ages Bring out the chef within you. Planning, preparing, and presentation of various types of food is the focus of this specialty camp. The campers will experience and prepare foods that require measurement of ingredients and creativity (presentation) and teamwork. Dates: Aug. 5 – 9th (Tentative) Time: 1:00 – 3:00 pm Cost:$50.00 Technology Camp All Ages Campers enjoy mind-expanding adventures in: engineering and robotics, video game creation, digital art, audio engineering as well as basic coding. Project levels are adjusted for age as well as ability. Campers exercise their minds and their bodies with activities that occur both on and off the computer. Dates: July 15th – 19thTime: 10:00 – 11:30 am Cost: $ 50.00
