Pulling the Minuteman. 200’ Transverse Pre-Connect from the non-nozzle side. Face the hosebed Grab the two pull loops. Pull the hose approximately 1 foot out from the hosebed edge. Place Left hand on top of load and Right hand underneath load To keep bundle neat.

  1. Pulling the Minuteman 200’ Transverse Pre-Connect from the non-nozzle side

  2. Face the hosebed • Grab the two pull loops

  3. Pull the hose approximately 1 foot out from the hosebed edge

  4. Place Left hand on top of load and Right hand underneath load • To keep bundle neat

  5. Pull the hose 2- 3 feet out from hosebed edge • Turn counterclockwise

  6. Place hose load on Right shoulder • Ensuring the load is placed so it will not hang too low at the front or back

  7. Step away from engine to clear the shouldered hose from the bed

  8. Maintain control of the nozzle as it sits in the small of your back

  9. Turn to face the hosebed • Clear ALL remaining hose from bed

  10. Ensure hose strap is loose • Walk to objective

  11. Allowing hose to pay off the top of the load

  12. Carefully place remaining shouldered hose on the ground • Neatly!

  13. Grab couplings

  14. Drag couplings back to flake out hose • Leaving nozzle at desired location

  15. Call for “water”
