  9. Goal: Increase implementation of effective HIV/STI/teen pregnancy prevention efforts in schools and school districts within a coordinated school health (CSH) framework through the integration of technology in the classroom.

Objectives for Today • At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to: • describe the modes of transmission and effective prevention strategies for HIV/STI/teen pregnancy, • identify strategies that utilize technology to improve HIV/STD/teen pregnancy prevention education instruction,

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to: 3) identify the differences between technologies, pros and cons of using each one, and key factors in selecting the appropriate technology, and 4) navigate the contest website, locating models of student work, guidelines for contest participation, technology tools and resources, and links to age-appropriate quality HIV/STI/teen pregnancy prevention information forstudents.
