Students graduate with a regular high school diploma

Profits from the program have allowed Renaissance to recoup

at least 50% of our cost center deficit each year

Parent Night

Speakers cover topics about careers, colleges, work, and family issues

Field Trips

Efforts are made to provide students with experiences that help them make educated career choices

Model United Nations

Students can join the YMCA’s Youth In Government program and attend local conferences

Restorative Justice

Circles provide a safe place for students to discuss issues, solve problems, develop leadership skills, and learn how to communicate more effectively

Giving Back to the Community

Rotary Book Drive

Broomstick Gala

A partnership with local colleges provides

transfer classes at an affordable rate

Students with IEP’s are not excluded from Renaissance as long as their needs can be met and the student wants to succeed

On Average-

60% qualify for free/reduced lunch

22% qualify as homeless

Renaissance maintains a student/teacher classroom ratio of 12:1

Classrooms are staffed with state licensed educators, including theAlternative Education 952 license

The program has graduated over 300 students since its inception
