  4. Define In Context Agitation: The worried parents paced the room in agitation, waiting for the news of their son. Confounded: The overlapping sets of animal tracks confounded the hunters. Desolation: In the tornado’s wake, the tiny town was left in desolation. Embargo: Because of the grain embargo, many farmers could not sell their crops abroad. Extremities: Frostbite first affects a person’s extremities, such as fingers and the toes.
