For Next Week • Read the syllabus • Peruse the text and read through Chapter 1. • Contact Your Mentor • Introduce yourself • Ask this question: What do I need to do to be successful in Dr. D’s class? • Accept my invitation to join the IN*SITEnetwork • Complete your profile (making sure to use your Gmail address as your sign-in name) • Once you have received my acceptance of your invitation, you should join the Curriculum Leadership and Shared Leadership Groups (REQUIRED) and any of the other groups for which you have experience, expertise, or interest. • Navigate around the site • Download the PowerPoints from Week 1 and Week 2 (Posted by 3:00 pm on Mondays so that you can print the slides). • Navigate around the site

For Next Week • Visit IN*SITEnetwork • Add “friends” and send someone an email from inside the IN*SITEnetwork • Visit the Groups and see which ones you would like to join based on your expertise and/or interest. Ask to be included in at least 3 groups other than School Law, Leadership Collaborative, Focus Group or Curriculum Leadership • Read some of Dr. D’s Blogs. Add a comment if the spirit moves you! • VisitGmail • Set it up to forward your Gmail to your home email account • VisitGoogle docs • Play around with programs: document, spreadsheet, presentation • Download “Prisoners of Time” from Class Resources and begin reading it.
