  4. Tour Organisation 2018 The holiday is organised through the specialist holiday company ‘TGM Snowsports’, one of the UK’s major Snowsport Holiday providers with a long track record of running school and college adventure holidays.

  5. Ski Leadership The Ski Leadership and Instruction will be provided by a combination of The TGM Team of staff in conjunction with local ski school. • TGM staff are all qualified teachers / youth workers / Alpine Ski Leaders / British Association of Snowsport Instructors / Professional Ski Instructors of America • All those responsible for groups are qualified Alpine Ski Leaders or Nationally approved Snowsports Instructors • All have extensive experience of leading ski groups and introducing skiing to young people. • All are qualified First Aiders

The Transport Executive Coach – Ava Coaches - We will be collected from school and returned to school on a high quality executive coach with - toilet / wash-hand basin, dvd and screens, stereo, PA system, reclining seats with seat belts and a drinks machine. TGM Snowsports operates only high specification coaches and the coach operators must adhere to the strict safety regulations as laid down by the DOT.

Luggage - VERY IMPORTANT Luggage space will be at a premium Luggage will be limited to • one medium size SOFT holdall – approx 22kg • one SMALL bag of hand baggage – sandwiches, drink, iPod, books, magazines etc for the journey • HARD SIDED CASES WILL BE REFUSED • OVERSIZED BAGS WILL BE REFUSED PLEASE DO NOT BRING THEM THEY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

  9. Half Term 2018 The trip will be based at the Zistelberghof Hotel, Werfenweng, Austria.Located around one hour south of Salzburg and is a high standard, youth hotel.

  21. Ski HelmetsSki helmets used to be the butt of many jokes. Now they are hip, comfortable and could save you from serious injury. Helmets are also much warmer than the average cap or hat. How to buy a ski helmet - 1. Look for a helmet model you like. Some helmets cover the ears and others have ear flaps, and they come in a variety of hues from gray to neon yellow. 2. Measure your head. Wrap a measuring tape around your head directly above your ears and forehead.

  24. Progressive Awards Can be used to support both GCSE and A level PE and the holiday can be used as part of the video assessment.

  25. Itinerary Day 1 – Thu – 0715h depart by executive coach from school for Dover. Comfort stops en route. 1725h P&O Ferry crossing from Dover. Continue from Calais with meals and comfort stops en route. Have some Euros available. Day 2 – 1200h arrival in resort. Check in to rooms. Free time. Check ski gear. Hot evening meal in the hotel and short welcome meeting.

  26. Itinerary Day 3 - 7 – Depart for local snowsports after breakfast. Packed lunch provided each day. Hot dinner and après-ski organised each evening. Day 8 – Check out of hotel after breakfast. Load coach. Depart at 0915h by coach for Calais journeying throughout the day on the coach with refreshment and comfort stops en route. Day 9 – Fri – 0135h short sea crossing from Calais. Arrival back at school around 1230h.
