  3. A practical exercise…. Chose one of these cards: don’t say it aloud!!!. Just look at it and try to fix it in your mind...

  4. A practical exercise... Think of your card for 10 second without saying it to anybody...

  5. Am I right?? A practical exercise…. • How have I done it? • 1.Pay attention to the process here: • - Whom you have talked to? • -How have you found the answer? • You have started an informal “emergent” network • to get information from the group, creating teams: • Autopoyesis is a process whereby a system (live organisms or social institutions) produces its own organisation and constitutes itself in a space. • Teamwork and networking strategies become natural and useful when a group is focused on solving the same problem, trying to find out new ideas, thinking aloud and processing verbally. Now I will hide your letter!!!

  6. Can institutions learn? Learning communities vs community learning The term autopoiesis was originally conceived as an attempt to characterize the nature of living systems. Autopoiesis is a process whereby a system produces its own organization and maintains and constitutes itself in a space.

  7. Let’s solve some easy enigmas... Work in groups of 3: -Listen to the story -Debate possible answers -Share with the whole group

  8. Cardiff: Investigating language attitudes: Social meanings of dialect, ethnicity and performance. (1994) Story I : Conflicts at Vision level Error at sharing aims -Mistake at identifying common needs, mismatching aims Solution: -Teams should find shared fields for common visions

  9. Barcelona, Forum 2004 Error at design levels -Mistake at planning: aesthetic priorities instead of praxis Solution: -Teams should include diverse profiles and final users at all steps Story II : Conflicts at planning

  10. Literal answers in an exam Story III : Conflicts at communicating How many times can you sustract 3 from 25 ? Only once!! 25-3= 22 Message or communication error -Mistake at expressing or understanding (code, language, culture...) Solution: -Teams should include feedback techniques and double checking

  11. Story IV : Conflict when using tools Procedural error -Mistake at changing tools, mismatching previous knowledge Solution: -Teams should include training for using new tools and resources
