  5. Students enter information. Click on drop down boxes. Then press “submit” when finished. Web Applications

Must know Navajo Nation Census Number & Social Security Number • PINK boxes are required fields • BLUE boxes are optional • Type Dates as indicated – mm/dd/yyyy • Schools are selected from a listing. Students select State then city of the institutions. They must selects from the list. If they do not find their school listed then they may not be looking in the right city or state or that institution is not regionally accredited. Application Tips

  17. List shows student who applied for current term and listed your institution on their ONNSFA Application. Online FNAs

The “Status” column tells you in what phase is each student’s FNA. • “New” means there is No FNA data entered for this student. • “In Process” means you have entered some information in the FNA, but have not finalized all 4 (four) fields. • “Update Complete” means all 4 (four) fields of FNA have been entered into Empower. It has not been finalized by ONNSFA; therefore, you can make changes to the FNA. • “Final” means the FNA has been entered and finalized by our office. An award is pending. Now the FNA cannot be changed through the web. If you need to report changes those will have to be processed on a paper FNA. Online FNAs

  22. Click “FindStudents” to return to list. You can then select another student enter their FNA. Online FNAS

  23. ONNSFA Online FNAs are real time. • Auto Updates ONNSFA Document Tracking Screen with Date of Completion. • Institutions able to check at listing for completion. • Institutions can view all FNAs per student. • Saves time and Paper. Online FNAs
