  4. Protect and enhance the asset • Average $20,000 per unit in value between • the curb and the front door • Sends the message “The owners who live • here care about their home. This is a nice • place to live!” • Attracts people to your community who • are also concerned with the appearance • of the property

  5. Makes the Community a “desired” • place to live • Safety Considerations • Breaks downward cycle of deferred • maintenance • Creates emotional involvement by owners • (engagement Vs. dial tone) • Creates a sense of neighborhood
