CETI High School Program Organization (contd.) • Three teams of three people each • One fluent Chinese speaker per team • Two to four schools per team • Two to four weeks per school • Total of six to eight weeks of teaching • Creative, fun, hands-on curricula with a science and technology focus

  4. CETI OCW Program Organization (contd.) • Two teams of three each • One fluent Chinese speaker per team • Two universities per team • Three to four weeks at each university • Total of eight weeks of teaching • OCW based MIT mini-courses • Aid in OCW outreach

CETI iCampus Program Organization (contd.) • Two teams of three to four people each • One fluent speaker per team • One to two universities per team • Three to six weeks per university • Total of about eight to ten weeks of teaching • iLabs or xTutor-based curriculums (e.g., 6.012, 6.001, 6.034, 1.00/6.170) • Showcase iCampus technologies • Further interest in educational technology development

Spring Training Schedule (tentative) • 2/18 (SAT 6-8pm) CETI Dumpling Night • DUE after: team preferences • 2/23 (THUR 8-9:30pm) CETI Cities and School; visa information • DUE after: city preferences • 3/9 (THUR) Curriculum Development I • DUE before: Three large topics and two possible projects per topic • 3/23 Communicating with students, teachers, and administrators • DUE before: first contact with schools • DUE before: syllabus with objectives and topics for each module • DUE before: daily schedule with topics/goals for each day

Spring Training Schedule (contd.) • 4/6 Curriculum Development II • DUE before: Procedures and schedules for each project • DUE before: List of materials for each project • DUE before: At least three milestone presentations per module • 4/20 Traveling in China; Do’s and Dont’s in Chinese Etiquette • DUE before: Half of curriculum presentations and/or handouts • Optional team-building events • Additional training sessions for iLabs teams
