What We Know • Efforts to enhance physician well-being is needed during the medical education years (Yaghmour, 2017) • Well-being is recognized as a priority during training by ACGME • Well-being programs are diverse in their approach. • Attention to physical health and well-being • Mindfulness and stress reduction initiatives • Emphasis on social gatherings and camaraderie

  3. Pilot interventions are showing promise in the realm of the humanities’ ability to offer more than simply extracurricular pursuits. Example: University of Washington SoM
