  1. Corduroy’s Math Adventure Around Town Project #67 Mrs. Holt KK-04

  2. 99 We found the number 99 at Sonic. There were other numbers, too. We got some ice cream.

  3. 752-0516 We went to the corner and found this number. It is a phone number.

  4. 20 This is a 20 dollar bill. It is my mom’s money. She put it back in her purse.

  5. 14 Corduroy found a sign on the street that said 14.

  6. 87955 This number was in our car. It changes all the time. It tells how many miles my mom drove.

  7. 8:11 This number tells the time. It is almost bed time.

  8. 325 This number is on a Kroger sign. It tells how much gas costs. Gas makes my mom’s car go. One time we ran out of gas and we were stuck.

  9. 40 Corduroy found this number on our street. It tells how fast you can go. If you go too fast, you get a ticket.

  10. My Reflection I liked doing this project. We found lots of numbers. You have to know your numbers so you can call people and buy stuff. You need to know your numbers so you don’t drive too fast or run out of gas.

  11. Statement of Purpose • I CHOSE CCSS STANDARD: CC.K.NBT.1 Work with numbers 11+ to gain foundations for place value. Understand that these numbers are composed of tens and ones.
